The Russell M. Clark Estate #11 oil well in Bradford Township in McKean County, Pennsylvania is a legacy well that was spudded sometime in the late 1800s as part of the late Clark Farm, which has nine (9) additional orphan wells still remaining. This well officially became an orphan in the early 1990s when the last operator, Gail Beaver, was deemed no longer viable and the well formally became the responsibility of the State of Pennsylvania.
The Well Done Foundation, Inc. adopted this well in September, 2021 and it will be the first WDF orphan well plugged by the NGO in the State of Pennsylvania, with the help of Seneca Resources Company, LLC.
Thank You, Seneca Resources.
