Bluhm #12

(WDF20.009)
STATUS:
Plugged
The Bluhm #12 Oil Well in Northern Toole County, Montana, began drilling July 5, 1934 to the final depth of -1,600′ by the Imperial Petroleum Corp. This well became an orphan in the early 1990s when the last operator, Cavalier Petroleum, filed for bankruptcy and the well formally became the responsibility of the State of Montana. Thank you so much to the Reimer Family Climate Crisis Fund for sponsoring the plugging of this well, traveling all the way to Montana to take part in the plugging process, which took place on June 21-23, 2022. reimer family photo
